COURSES & ACADEMIC JOURNEY

Thinking like a physicist

My academic path has trained me to move between abstract theory, careful evidence, and clear explanation.

2022–2026

B.S. in Physics · American University of Beirut

My studies developed a rigorous foundation in mechanics, electromagnetism, quantum physics, optics, thermodynamics, mathematics, and experimental methods. More than a collection of courses, this journey taught me how to break difficult questions into testable steps and remain comfortable with uncertainty while working toward clarity.

2025–2026

Completed quantum sensing & Rydberg atoms research program

Working with Dr. Mahdi Chehimi, I completed a research program in experimental quantum sensing using Rydberg atoms. I contributed to setup and instrumentation work, data collection, signal characterization, and the analysis of excitation spectra. This experience showed me that scientific progress depends as much on disciplined troubleshooting and documentation as it does on a strong idea.

2025

Plasma physics research

With Prof. Antar, I worked on magnetic-field mapping for a coil and stellarator-related setup, connecting electromagnetic theory with physical measurement and visualization. Presenting at the Al Nour School for Plasma Physics in Jordan strengthened my confidence in discussing technical ideas with an academic audience.

WHAT I LEARNED

Precision is a form of creativity.

Physics has shaped my thinking far beyond equations. It has taught me to question assumptions, look for patterns, communicate reasoning explicitly, and treat mistakes as useful information. Academic work has also made me a better tutor: I understand that a concept becomes truly clear only when I can explain it in more than one way.
